Why are the bonus shares not visible in the holdings even though the company has issued it?

• It may take around 10 to 15 bays for bonus shares to be credited to the shareholders demat account after the record date. Bonus shares are only shown in the demat account once the shares are credited. At first bonus shares are shown with temporary ISIN and then with Permanent ISIN.

• Bonus shares will be seen in the Holding report in the Comet only once they have a permanent ISIN. Due to the above reason, it is possible that the bonus shares are not visible in the holdings in the comet even though the company has issued it.
