How to interpret SDL, T- bills and govt. securities names or symbols?

The name or symbol of government securities is a unique combination of alphabets and numbers which gives information about them as interest rate, maturity year etc.

FOR EXAMPLE: -

SDL – 608MP30-SG
608: 6.08% annualised interest rate.(will be paid half yearly @3.04%)
MP: Madhya Pradesh.
30: 2030(Year of maturity).
SG: State government.

T-bill - 91D251230-TB
91D: Tenure is 91 days.
251230: 25th December 2030(Maturity date).
|TB: Treasury bill.

668GS2035A
668: 6.68% annualised interest rate.(will be paid half yearly @3.34%)

GS –Government Security
2035 –Maturity year
A – fresh issue (for internal use of Exchange)
