- Funds are debited from the Equity Ledger of the investor as & when the Bid has been Punched for Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGB) orders.
- We show Available Balance on Bid Page & if Minimum Amount Is Available then the investor will be able to bid.The investor cannot bid for the quantity which cannot be paid from available balance.An error message for the negative balance will be shown on the space web page or space app screen.
For Example: - - The available balance in the Equity Ledger account is ₹10,000. The issue price of an SGB is ₹4,500. An order of maximum 2 units can be placed (4500 *2).
- Now, if the investor orders for 3 units, then, an error message will be shown regarding to insufficient balance.
- However, he can reduce the quantity as per the balance available and then, successfully place the order.
