How can shares be moved from one Jainam account to another CDSL Easiest demat account?

  • To transfer the securities from the Jainam account using CDSL, follow the steps:
    1. Registered on CDSL.
    2. Log in to https://web.cdslindia.com/myeasitoken/home/login
    3. Click on transaction then select ‘’setup’’.
    4. Click on ‘’bulk setup’’
    5. Click on the transaction and fill out the BOID, Execution date, etc.
    6. After this process click on ISINs and fill up the given details by selecting holding from the ‘’list’’ 
    7. Select ''submit''.
    8. Click on verification.
    9. Click on commit and enter OTP in the registered mobile number and email.
    10. Enter an 8-digit alphanumerical CDSL, which is easiest to receive on a registered email ID.
  • This is now sent to DP for confirmation, after approval, the transfer will be done.

  • If the PIN was not received, login to CDSL.
  • Click on ''Miscellaneous'' and reset the pin.
  • The transfer is processed to be approved until the shares are available in the customer demat account.
  • Suppose shares or mutual funds are under a lock-in period, verified, you cannot be transferred.
  • There are no charges for off-market share transfers within the specified limits.
  • If the off-market transfer is not a gift or self-transfer that case involves tamp duty must be paid to CDSL  online before making the transfer.
  • Enter the BOID of the person to whom the securities were transferred.
