Who is eligible to invest in SGBs?

• The SGBs bond can be purchased by Indian residents. The eligible person include:

1. 1. Individuals
   2. Trusts
   3. Universities
   4. HUF's
   5. Charitable Institutions
      
      RELATED FATCS: -
      In case the residential status changes from resident to a non-resident, the investor can continue to hold the SGB till maturity/early redemption.
